Our program holds full accreditation status.

December 1st is the deadline for applications.

Minimum score requirements on the USMLE

We accept applications only through ERAS.

We have 13 positions.

We interview approximately 100 applicants.

We receive approximately 500 applications. All applications received are reviewed.

All invitations to interview are sent via email, the address you use on ERAS.

We do not have a limit on how many years between medical school graduation and application to our program.

We do accept Foreign Medical Graduates, their requirements are the same as US grads.

Graduates of medical schools outside the United States and Canada who meet one of the following qualifications:

Have a currently valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).  The Texas Medical Board and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services require the following documents be present in your file. You must personally present the following   original documents AND one set of 8-½ inch by 11-inch certified photocopies. Please remember that in order to be considered for a residency or clinical fellowship position, all of the requirements must be met BEFORE a program can release an appointment contract to you.  For additional information concerning our ECFMG requirements http://med.uth.tmc.edu/administration/gme/img_docs.html.

We do not require US clinical experience, but it is preferred.

We sponsor only J-1 Visa
